As Business Development Executive you maintain, develop, and attract customers, and monitor commercial processes to provide tailored solutions. You are the key interface between customers and all relevant divisions within our group. Use your enthusiasm and sense of entrepreneurship to leave your mark on the freight forwarder market. With the support of a dedicated team you explore, develop, and create new opportunities. You manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives. You are responsible for the development of and follow-up with a variety of customers, and the expansion of your own portfolio. As Business Development Executive you have the expertise to support our customers with your extensive market and product knowledge. Because networking is also critical in this position, you must often travel to conferences, business meetings, and industry events.

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who has a minimum of four years’ experience in the freight forwarder industry. You have an in-depth knowledge of shipping and logistics chains. A solid knowledge of the liquids industry as well as other logistics services is a plus. If you have already built up your own portfolio within the business, that would be an advantage. You can deliver excellent service to customers and colleagues all over the world. You can identify commercial opportunities and translate them into wins for the future. Together we will make the difference, to stand out from other logistics suppliers. You are computer-literate and have strong written and verbal communication skills. You speak and write English fluently – this is a must. Knowledge of any other languages is a plus. You like a healthy level of stress in your role, and are willing to work for a business in full expansion mode.
