YOUR CHALLENGES

As the Country Manager Road Transport, you'll be at the heart of our operations, driving the central follow-up, integration, development, management, and coordination of all Road Transport Services activities. You'll collaborate closely with global management to outline, execute, and oversee our supply chain strategy. With P&L responsibility, you'll manage the dynamic team leaders across various divisions, empowering them to excel and hit their targets.

You will also oversee all operational work, stepping in to support where needed to ensure smooth and efficient running of daily activities. You'll craft the annual budget, support the commercial team in delivering stellar service and cost-efficient solutions, and oversee group-related commercial activities. Your role will involve setting and monitoring KPIs for our road transport services, ensuring we stay on track to our goals. By understanding the industries we serve and staying alert to new opportunities and industry shifts, you'll be poised to capitalize on fresh prospects and foster cross-division collaboration. You'll plan and streamline resources, systems, and processes to enhance efficiencies across Road Transport, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the industry.

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

It is essential that you bring a wealth of experience, ideally at least 10 years, in a senior logistical role or general management closely tied to road transport. Possessing an analytical mind and a solid grasp of financial principles is crucial, as is a keen interest in the latest technologies that can drive our projects forward. You genuinely care about both our customers and our employees, and as a natural networker, you will help expand our professional connections. Demonstrating excellent communication skills is a must; fluency in Dutch and English is required, while proficiency in French or Spanish is highly advantageous. Moreover, your ability to develop and manage relationships at the executive level will be instrumental in driving our success.
